Yves Saint Laurent – Iconic Fashion

January 27, 2009

Two weeks ago, I headed out to the de Young museum here in San Francisco with some of my favorite girls to see the Yves Saint Laurent exhibit. It was (as they would say in the fashion world) faaaaabulous.

Sadly, San Francisco is the only U.S. venue, but it was truly a work of art. The exhibit showcases all the talents of this fashion icon who forever changed how women embraced the clothing they utilize to express themselves to this very day.

In the 1960s Yves Saint Laurent made an indelible mark on fashion with clothing emblematic of the new modernity. The exhibit showcases over 100 garments from YSL that range from the eclectic to the classic.

So if you happen to be traveling to one of the cities that the YSL exhibit will be living you must visit it!
