I spent the last week in Colorado at my family’s house out here for our first Christmas in the Rockies. I was able to spend most of the days in either ski gear or leggings (Thanks to Capitol Hill Style, I am obsessed with these– seriously the best ever), enjoy great wine and movies and overall downtime with my whole family which is what this season is really about, isn’t it?

I’m heading back to New York tonight for my first New Year Eve’s in the city and am looking forward to kicking off 2014 with a positive start. I’ll be sharing my resolutions on Wednesday. And if you ever get the chance to visit Colorado, Beaver Creek is a can’t-miss type of place. Happy Monday, all!

Items worn: J.Crew shirt & socks (these and these– on sale!), UGGs, Zella leggings, American Apparel Winter Leggings, Rag & Bone jeans
