Thanks for bearing with me during the past few days of radio silence. Last Tuesday my world got thrown a major curve ball when I was told that, due to structural damage discovered in my apartment building, I had to evacuate immediately and until further notice. Well it turns out that further notice is looking like a month and I most likely need to find a new place to live. I’ll spare you all the painstaking details that have given me so much emotional distress (literally have either been feeling like I am going to throw up or start sobbing at nearly every turn for the last 7 days – and yes, both did happen – the latter on a rather regular basis) but I’m living at friends’ places until I can figure out my next move and it pretty much is less than ideal. No one likes being a nomad and I just want to find a solution to this living nightmare. Wish me luck will you?

Until some things get resolved my posting will be more limited. I’m living with about a dozen pieces of clothing (how great when you have a fashion blog, right?!) and feeling so stressed/tired that I’m just struggling right now. If you’ve got any good vibes I’d love for you to send them my way! You have no idea how grateful I’d be…

Wore this outfit the other week to work when the weather dipped above 45 and it was like ALL HAIL THE SUN! Ways to get the look below.

Outfit: Banana Republic dress (old and swiped from my friend B’s closet), Joie jacket, Corso Como boots (similar on sale here), Foley + Corinna bag, Warby Parker sunglasses, Sorrelli necklace, Cuyana scarf

  3. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from trying to find life/blog balance, it’s just not to push it.

Take care of yourself first-and-foremost. Keeping my ears open for you, lady, and will certainly pass along any openings that I hear of!

Until then, there’s wine. Let’s get together soon 🙂

Sending positive vibes your way! I feel for you and hope you can take a moment each day to just breath and do something you can get a little bit of joy from – even if it’s just a coffee or a walk or talking to your family.

Oh gosh, that sounds awful- I’m sorry you got that news. I hope you’re able to find a new place soon and that it all works out in the end.

Also, this is such a cute outfit! I’m so pleased by the warmer temperatures we’ve had lately.
