First and foremost I want to say a heartfelt thank you to those who commented on yesterday’s post either via the blog post itself or on social media. It feels so nice to be heard + understood and whenever I write more personal posts you guys, my awesome readers, remind me that it is ok to be vulnerable and not on top of everything at all times. Thank you, thank you for continuing to make me want to be better and more open.

As for this outfit, my roommate and I both own this vest (last worn here) and since we acquired it have referred to it as our “Power Vest” – ha! There’s just something about wearing a longer, slimmed vest in the right fabric with a pair of heels that makes you feel like a true Boss Lady.

These sleeveless trenches + vest styles are so perfect for this time of year to transition into warmer temperatures and I love how they are easy layering pieces. I’ve rounded up several styles below in a multitude of colors and many that are a bit more lightweight for Spring/Summer styling.
