Madewell Sweater I Zara Scarf I wit & whimsy

If I’m being honest you guys, this was the first week in a while that seemed to sort of drag on! But let me tell you what an energizing start Monday seemed to have as a result of your answers to this post! I loved reading the comments and the emails from those of you who sent me your answers directly and truly enjoyed getting to know each of you better!

Which leads me to…my first Q&A! I’m going to begin working on a post that answers all of your questions. Several of you requested this so I’m going to do it – so have at it! Please leave below / snap / tweet / email / carrier pigeon your questions to me and I’ll do my best to get all answered very soon in a comprehensive post. (Some of the larger questions / post requests I got like tips for working from home I’ll answer in more dedicated posts) but I can’t wait to hear what you guys would like to know more about.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Be sure you’re following me on Instagram and Snapchat as I’m heading upstate for a little fall adventure to tick another fun thing off my fall bucket list!

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

  • Visited the press previews for Everlane & Cynthia Rowley. So much goodness coming! This was a favorite of Everlane’s new offerings.
  • Caught up with my friend Angie at Le District. I love this French-inspired spot. It opened last year and is so worth checking out if you’re a fellow francophile like myself and Angie!
  • Fit in classes at Pure Barre and Flywheel.
  • Got a lot of blog content underway!
  • Caught up with Blair over coffees in the West Village.

  1. Can’t wait to see your upstate adventure! Also, loved the Six Degrees Society feature!

  2. GF says:

Alright, might be a dumb question, but–how do you date in NYC/what’s the scene like? I’m getting ready to move there, and–while I’m so excited overall!–I’ve just heard NYC dating horror stories and it makes me really nervous. I’m planning on doing standard online dating (like I have been in other major cities I’ve lived) but wanted to see if you have any firsthand advice!

    • Meghan says:

Hi there! I don’t think dating in NY is any worse than when I lived in SF truth be told but at 31 I do find it harder to find spots where people my age are! Often it feels like a lot of early 20s at the bars but otherwise I wouldn’t believe those horror stories as I don’t think they are specific to NY 😉 How exciting that you are moving here! Will think on this more though and see if I can work more into the Q&A!
