October Beauty Edit

Rose Beauty Products Worth TryingMost people either love or hate rose scented / flavored things. I fall in the former category as I seriously can’t get enough! The Laduree rose macarons are my favorite, I love rose wine (obviously) and recently have been hoarding rose beauty products. For this month’s Beauty Edit (in just under the wire ;)), I’m sharing a roundup of my favorites that I think you guys will also love!

Fresh Rose Face Mask:

This has been my go-to mask this summer whenever I’m short on time. It only requires 5-10 minutes to get to work and instantly makes my face feel more radiant after use. The coolest part? The mask actually has real rose petals in it! Rosewater is also added for soothing and toning. It’s particularly great in summer because it is cooling as it is applied but I’ll use it year round whenever my skin needs a little dialing up on radiance.

Glossier Rose Balm Dot Com:

My new go-to to slather on my pout before bed. The rose scent is subtle but calming and this lip balm is ultra-hydrating. It also has the slightest, softest pink tint if you’re not one for wearing lipstick on the reg.

Laura Mercier Lipstick in Spiced Rose:

This is my favorite lip color of the moment. When applied with the Laura Mericer lip pencil in Hazelnut Tea (lip liners are game changers, BTW), it is such a great nude lip with the slightest pink hue. I don’t think the color is at all representative as seen on the Nordstrom site FYI. It’s much more nude.

Sisley Paris Botanical Floral Toning Lotion:

Man, does my sensitive skin love that this toning lotion for whatever reason feels like a mini spa treatment when using it. Ultra-soothing (thanks to extracts of rose, cornflower and witch hazel), I swipe this on whenever my skin is feeling dry after I have washed my face.

Moroccanoil Shower Milk in Fleur de Rose:

I don’t have a body wash that I really love but this one is now in the running because it smells heavenly and the scent lingers ever so slightly after showering. Featuring argan oil like other Moroccanoil products, it is as good at hydrating as it is cleansing. File under: win/win.

As a bonus, THIS spray is amazing! I use it to set my makeup every morning or if my skin is feeling dry, I give it a spritz! And the fact that it is only $7? Winning.

p.s. a rose scarf and blush beauties for your shoe collection.
