Chic Layers I wit & whimsy

This week flew by and I can’t tell you how excited I am to be taking some time off next week. I fly to Stockholm on Sunday where I’ll spend a few days before I then head to Copenhagen. SO looking forward to exploring these two cities and also a part of Europe to which I’ve never been. I have a few posts teed up for next week so you can check in here as you normally would and, I’ll of course be sharing lots over on Instagram as well!

Hope you have a great weekend! And p.s. a friendly reminder you can send me questions / post suggestions / feedback / you name it via the Ask Meghan form HERE!

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

  • Hibernated during Wednesday’s major snowstorm.
  • Held the second ladies get together evening in my neighborhood. It was such fun!
  • Attended the launch of Everlane’s underwear line! I love that they are doing this. It launches Monday and you can join the waitlist here!
  • Caught up with friends over various breakfasts and burger outings!

YES! Ok here are my top items:
Stockholm: Get a cardamom cinnamon roll at Bageri Petrus. I spent most of the day just walking around island to island and it was lovely. The Vasa Museum is interesting to spend a couple of hours at. There’s a Barry’s Bootcamp in Stockholm if you’re looking for a workout. I took one of their English classes and it was great (I’m currently living in Barcelona so I have been missing my US workout studios!).
Copenhagen: Torvehallerne food market is fun to walk through, grab a snack or meal at, or a coffee at Coffee Collective. Nyhavn of course (I did a one hour canal boat tour starting there which was nice), You’ll love the department store Illums Belighus, so dreamy. Dinner at Manfred’s (farm to table) was so good and I highly recommend it (I heard about it through Grace Atwood’s blog).
I think that Copenhagen might be my new favorite European city. Both are great to just walk around and take it all in. Enjoy! XO
