The Most Instagram-Worthy Spots in London

Meghan Donovan of wit & whimsy in Notting Hill

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting London twice over the past year and it is utterly charming but also oh-so-photogenic. I have a hard time walking around without my camera or phone in hand, constantly snapping pictures of the darling streets and inspiring sites. In addition to sharing my absolute favorites after my most recent trip, a recap of all the most Instagrammable spots felt in order.

I also had the pleasure of collaborating with my friend Charlie of @hernamewascharlie on this post and she was nice enough to share some of her favorite spots as well. Her Instagram is one of my favorites for seeing all the beautiful places in London!

Hope you enjoy this guide and don’t forget to bookmark it or pin from it for your next trip!

  1. Liz Carpenter says:

Gah, this is making me so impatient for a work trip in September (it’ll be my second visit to London). We’re staying at the Rosewood London in High Holborn – I know Covent Garden is really close, but do you have any other recommendations in easy walking distance of that area?

    • Meghan says:

There is a Dishoom in Covent Garden so definitely recommend going there! Drooling thinking about it. Also check out Somerset House and the National Portrait Gallery! All near/in Covent Garden! Have the best trip!

  2. Can you believe I have never been to Abbey Road?! And adding Petersham Nurseries, Regent Park, Little Venice, Primrose Hill and Kew Gardens to this list. But I must disagree about Sketch because the afternoon tea is the MOST delicious in London in my opinion (three words: truffled grilled cheese) but it is $$$$ so definitely one for a special occasion.

Cannot wait for your next visit!
