What Meghan Wants Christmas Gift Guide

Gift guides season has officially arrived on wit & whimsy and today I’m debuting with one of the most popular guides I do: What I want for Christmas! This is a compilation of everything on my personal wish list right now. (You may notice some items from my Spring Wish List & Fall Wish List).

I don’t need any of these things – they are more nice to haves of course and rather are just items I’ve considered purchasing and may do so later this year or in 2024 – we’ll see! But I hope it inspires you and gives you some good gift ideas as holiday shopping officially gets underway.

What Meghan Wants for Christmas

1. Khaite Clutch

My god there are so many beautiful Khaite bags and this clutch has been on my list for years. This may be the season I finally pull the trigger. (Should I!?)

2. U Beauty Super Hydrator

I’ve heard great things about this hydrating serum and want to try it out as my skin is already feeling parched and winter hasn’t even commenced!

3. Dorsey Lab Grown Drop Earrings

I don’t have a ton of earrings I can reach for on dressier occasions and I think these have such a beautiful vintage feel to them that make them just seem as though they should be passed down for generations.

4. The Row Small Leather Park Tote

This bag has been popular since earlier this year and I for one am happy to see bucket bags making a come back. I think this color in particular is great because it is truly season-less. I saw it in store in Saks recently and absolutely love it. So simple yet so refined.

5. Loewe Belt

I actually bought this and had to return it as I got the wrong size but I will be repurchasing because it is *so* beautiful in person. I love how timeless it is and that it really will add a lot when paired with trousers and over dresses.

6. Jenni Kayne Suede Slingbacks

I just had to retire my go-to black slingbacks I’ve had since 2016 after loads of wear and they aren’t made anymore so think I’ll be getting this pair to replace mine soon.

7. Pave Pinky Ring

One of my girlfriends wears a diamond pinky ring every day and whenever I see her it just looks so good. It elevates any outfit and I like the idea of having a little bit of dainty sparkle.

8. Celine Tote

This bag has been on my list for ages and I may finally pull the trigger while in Paris. I bought it for my BFF last year while I was in Paris to help her save some money on the purchase and every time I see her with it it looks so good! Perfect work tote and carry on tote.

9. Inez Paz Boots

These boots in the brown are one of my most worn pairs so I want to add the back to my rotation.

10. Smoky Eye Brick

Given how much I have loved a lot of the Victoria Beckham Beauty line, I am eager to try this eye shadow palette that keeps selling out.

11. Golden Goose Sneakers

My OG pair of Golden Goose sneakers from 2018 are about done because they are worn so, so much. I think I’ll replace the silver back pair I have with this black pair.

12. Vintage Cartier Watch

High on my wish list for life is a vintage Cartier watch. I’m hopeful to find one in the coming years but am in no rush. But I love the idea of a special timepiece to wear every day. Alternatively, I really like the look of (the less pricey) Longines watches.

13. Gorjana Huggies

Gorjana makes some of my most worn affordable jewelry and I love that this pair of earrings looks more expensive than their price tag.

14. Oura Ring

Do any of you have this? I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’ve been considering it for 2+ years.

15. Everlane Alpaca Crewneck

I have this classic sweater in the Almond color but think the new stripe has my name written all over it with those tonal colors!

16. Khaite Boots

How chic? And so wearable with so many different outfits.

17. Jenni Kayne Candle

Jenni Kayne makes some of my favorite candles (Cedar, Cassis and Topanga being in regular rotation for me) and the new Vail one with notes of ginger and clove sounds perfectly cozy for the months ahead.

18. Barefoot Dreams Robe

I am in the market for a new robe and this one looks equal parts cozy as it does chic.

    Those boots are amazing!

Love my Kindle so much! I sprung for a new Paperwhite on Prime Day as well (I had been using a really old Kindle Fire) and it’s amazing. Also I love all the dainty jewelry! So cute.

Re watches: I have a pre-owned Cartier Tank Francaise and the Longines Dolce Vita with the red strap. I like them both equally. IMO the allure of the Tank is about the curved case and beautifully designed steel bracelet, which the Tank Must doesn’t have. The Longines has a more beautiful dial with the guilloche texture. The Tank Must seems to be riding on Cartier’s reputation, but if you want a Cartier watch, that’s what you want. (Note that these are both quartz watches, and for the price of the Cartier watch, you could easily buy a Longines automatic watch. My favorite and daily watch is a Longines automatic.)

I love my Oura ring and think you will love it. It helped me so much on my better sleep journey.

Would love to hear how you like the Dorsey earrings! I bought them hoping to LOVE them, and loved them off, but they didn’t fall right when I was wearing them for whatever reason. I don’t know if it was my ears or the earrings ha, but they faced/tilted downward too much to look beautiful on. So annoying! Hope you have better luck!
