Gifts for The Francophiles

I’m excited to unveil my fifth annual gift guide devoted to fellow Francophiles! Not sure what a Francophile is? It is someone who loves all things French. Culture, recipes, traditions – you name it.

And after all what’s not to love about being a Francophile? I first fell in love with the French way of life and the country’s food and culture when I was just a little girl and my love for the country has only grown since then. You can find all my content that’s dedicated to my love of Paris here.

I hope you find something perfect for the Francophile in your life to transport them to the City of Lights!

This is a favorite gift guide to put together – particularly because I think there is a fine line between chic Francophile gift ideas and kitschy Francophile gift guides I see put together this time of year. I strive to have this guide feature the best French-inspired gifts from favorite brands and small businesses alike that are all chic and fun ideas for that Francophile you know and love.

Gifts for the Francophiles

1. Hotel Lobby Paris Nuit Candle

My friend Lindsay makes amazing candles and her Paris Nuit one gets all the sexy, subtle notes of a magical night in Paris right. With a burn time of 65 hours, your gift recipient will be able to be immediately transported to a dimly-lit hotel lobby cocktail lounge for weeks past the holiday season.

2. Dior Cuticle Cream

This is one of my go-to gifts for Francophiles or not. It comes in gorgeous packaging and works wonders on dry cuticles. You can carry it around in your purse and it lasts forever!

3. Chanel Nail Polish

This long lasting nail polish wears really well and the Ballerina shade is one of my personal favorites.

4. Sezane Toiletry Bag

I love the idea of filling a toiletry bag for your Francophile bestie with some French beauty products

5. Chanel Hand Cream

This velvety hand cream leaves hands feeling so soft and is perfectly portable to carry around in your purse.

6. Paris Ball Cap

This hat gives me Celine vibes and I love the washed, pre-loved look of it that makes it perfect to pair with all your athleisure looks you wear when not in Paris. The perfect gift for your Francophile friend who loves fashion.

7. French Sea Salt

This is the perfect little stocking stuffer for your favorite Francophile.

8. Caudalie Detox & Glow Gift Set

The Caudalie gift sets offer such great value and I actually always grab them this time of year so I can travel with minis of all my favorites. This particular gift set even includes a full size Beauty Elixir which I leave on my bathroom sink and use every night! Plus two of my other hero products are also included. If this one isn’t of interest, they offer a variety of other Caudalie Gift Sets.

9. Paris, Perfected Gift Card

Know someone going to Paris soon? Give the gift of Paris, Perfected! I would love to work with them on their trip + offer customized, personalized recommendations to make their trip extra special via a gift card.

10. Custom Matches

I recently became aware you can make custom matches and I love the idea of picking a design where you can customize a special phrase or the address of your Francophile’s favorite Parisian address. So sentimental and thoughtful. They take a while to come so be sure to order these with plenty of time!

11. Staub Crepe Pan

We all love pancakes and waffles at home on weekends but how about Crepes? This crepe pan comes with the tools you need to master them at home. Pair the pan with this Crepe Mix so the gift recipient can begin mastering them right away. (This is the mix we use at my house!)

12. Christophe Robin Salt Scrub

A favorite gift of mine to give to girlfriends this scalp scrub feels like a luxurious spa treatment in the comfort of your own shower. Every time a friend visits and uses my shower – they try this and then go home and buy it!

13. Trudon Josephine Candle

Late last year I learned about the fascinating history of Trudon candles and in producing this video I ended up buying my niece’s namesake candle which has notes of Bergamot, Kaffir lime and warm spices. These candles are pricey so they make a special luxe gift. But the canister is so striking and can be repurposed after the candle has been burned.

14. The Flowers of Provence Book

American photographer Jaime Beck lives in Provence and captures absolutely stunning visuals. This is her newest book that would make a great gift for any floral or France lover.

15. Dior: The Legendary 30, Avenue Montaigne Book

I am fascinated by the history of the maison of Dior and 30 Avenue Montaigne is almost always on my list of places to pop into when in Paris. I just bought this book for myself recently so I can enjoy learning even more about this fashion house.

16. The Three Lives of Alix St. Pierre Novel

This was one of my favorite books that I read all year. It’s about an orphan turned WWII spy turned fashion icon in Paris working the house of Dior by one of my favorite authors.

17. DeMellier Marais Wallet

While actually a British brand despite its French sounding name, this brand has Francophile vibes in its minimalist line of bags and accessories. This wallet looks more high end than its price point.
